About this Event: Are you confused with the tax implications of an S Corp vs LLC? Do you have questions about what you can expense with your business?

This workshop explores and explains business taxation for small and new businesses. It will go over the various business structures and their taxation rules so you can be better informed when you choose a business structure. Along with taxation, the workshop will outline solid accounting and recordkeeping to help small businesses track sales, profits and expenses in order to help complete the required tax forms.

The workshop will further explain the various tax forms from the IRS for each business structure and how the forms relate to the other tax forms. Lastly, the workshop will go over the basic guidelines regarding expenses and whether they can be deducted from your taxes. With expenses, the workshop will go over basic guidelines to minimize a potential tax audit.
