This class is geared toward small businesses that want have a presence with online sales channels like Etsy and Amazon, which many customers expect. We will cover what you need to know before you begin, the basics of account setup and management for both platforms, quirks of Etsy, the various options for Amazon accounts (handmade vs regular Amazon), fees and taxes, and tips and tricks for other online solutions. Charlene Ruell of Panache Paper Art and Panache Consulting will be sharing their insights from more than 10 years of selling online and supporting other businesses.

Charlene Ruell has been self-employed for 10 years and is a small business owner located in Vancouver, Washington. They have been selling their artisan products online since 2010 and at the Vancouver Farmers Market since 2019. Charlene provides administrative consulting for other small businesses, serves as a member of the Square Beta community, and has worked as the manager of operations for a large non-profit.
